Evaluation Question 7

Question 7
Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Looking back at my preliminary task I can see how we actually went wrong when filming. We touched up on major issues and made sure we did not make mistakes. We used a way of trial and error when we were filming. I know this because we took five takes of each scene. This helped in the editing suite as it was easy to find a perfect scene to use.
Making the film was a new experience and made us feel how a cameraman/director/editor is put to pressure in the real world

Our preliminary task was a standard 30-second footage, which took us an hour to film and edited in half hour. We were not too familiar with the software and we did not add any effects. As our knowledge grew in the studio, well me being the director, I was told about different kind of edit types and this was helpful as I gradually told the editor to test out everything available to them.

From this as a Director I had to keep on about the 180-degree rule, which was vital. I also had to take risk assessment wherever we was filming.  I learnt many things to do with horror films and codes and conventions
